About the Painting

Wind-swept clouds roll over the Santa Rosa Mountains in this La Quinta-inspired painting. You can almost hear the wind rushing through the fronds of the desert palms and feel the storm clouds in the air. The brush strokes are loose and impressionistic, conveying a sense of motion and spontaneity.

This painting was created on 1-1/2" canvas, with the painting continued around the edges. The piece will be framed in a gold floater frame and arrives ready to hang.

ERIN HANSON is a life-long painter, beginning her study of oils as a young child.  Her passion for natural beauty is seen in her work as she transforms vistas familiar and rare into stunning interpretations of bold color, playful rhythms, and raw emotional impact.
