About the Painting

The wind-sculpted arms of the Monterey cypress tree curve against a dawning sky. This painting of Lover's Point, near Monterey, captures the beautiful vista spread out in all directions. Each brush stroke is thickly applied without layering, creating a mosaic of texture across the canvas.

"Lover's Cypress" was created on 1-1/2" canvas, with the painting continued around the edges. The painting arrives framed in a contemporary gold floater frame.
