About the Painting

Inspired by years of photographing wildflower blooms in Texas hill country, this painting captures the amazing variety of color you can find in springtime. From brown-eyed Susans and Indian paintbrushes to bluebonnets and evening primroses, this painting captures the full medley of spring color with expressive, impressionistic brush strokes.

This is a triptych painting, meaning it was created on three separate canvases, each 1-1/2" deep. The painting is continued around the edges of the canvas, for a 3-dimensional effect. The painting is designed to hang on the wall without framing.
