After exploring Mono Lake and the ancient Bristlecone Forest, I headed deeper into the Sierras to spend time backpacking among the alpine lakes, snow crunching under my boots, the sky bright and blue above. This painting captures the wintery beauty of the Sierra Nevadas near Mammoth Lakes.

"Mammoth" was created on linen board, and the piece arrives framed in a black and gold frame, ready to hang.
