Cypress Dusk

The last light of day turns the rocky coastline of Pebble Beach into a milky array of pastel hues. A pair of cypress trees with weathered branches stand against the coastal winds, spreading their shaggy arms into the dusky sky. The impressionistic brush strokes are loose and expressive, capturing the moment with bold color and impasto texture.

"Cypress Dusk" was created on 1-1/2" canvas, with the painting continued around the edges. The piece arrives framed in a contemporary gold floater frame finished in 23kt gold leaf.
