This large oil painting celebrates the beauty of the Grand Canyon with impressionistic color and thick, impasto brush strokes. The pine trees in the foreground add depth to the scene, giving you the sense of standing on the very edge of the canyon and getting lost in one of the Grand Canyon's famous sunsets.

"Grand Canyon in Triptych" was created on three separate stretched canvases, 1-1/2" deep. The edges of each individual canvas are painted as a continuation of the painting, creating a three-dimensional effect when viewed from the side. The panels should be hung 3-3/4" apart, creating a total horizontal length of 99-1/2" inches (over 8 feet long.)
