About the Painting

The beautiful red rock vista of Sedona stretches across the horizon, bathing the eyes in sun-drenched color. The thickly applied brush strokes are loose and impressionistic, capturing the brisk feeling of standing on the edge of the butte and looking out across the valley.

This painting was created on 1-1/2" canvas, with the painting continued around the edges. The piece has been framed in a carved gold open impressionist frame.

This painting will be shown in the The Red Rock Show at The Erin Hanson Gallery, June 16th, 2018. Click here to view the other Red Rock paintings.
