About the Painting

Morning light plays over the emerald hills of Paso Robles in central California. The soft rolling hills are dotted with oak trees that cast long purple shadows across the soft grass. Each impasto brush stroke is thick and impressionistic, creating a medley of color and texture acrosst the canvas.

This painting was done on 1-1/2" deep canvas, with the painting continued around the edges. The painting arrives framed and ready to hang.
