Orange-colored sunflowers are beautifully portrayed in vivid color and expressive movement in this painting. The colors seem to vibrate with life and energy as the eye roams about the piece. The thickly textured brush strokes of oil paint stand away from the canvas in vivid impasto.

This painting was done on 2"-deep canvas, with the painting continued around the edges. This piece has been framed in a gold floater frame to set off the warm colors in the artwork. Read more about the painting's details here.

Exhibited The Orange Show, The Erin Hanson Gallery, Los Angeles, CA. 2016.
