The Indio Polo Grounds are beautiful in the winter - and this view captures the wide expanse of the Santa Rosa Mountains, capped in snow and glowing blue in the sunset light. The brush strokes in this painting are thickly applied, and the sky is alive with texture and motion.

This painting was done on 1-1/2" canvas, with the painting continued around the edges. It has been framed in a gold floater frame and arrives ready to hang.

ERIN HANSON is a life-long painter, beginning her study of oils as a young child.  Her passion for natural beauty is seen in her work as she transforms vistas familiar and rare into stunning interpretations of bold color, playful rhythms and raw emotional impact.
