The 2017 super bloom became famous around the world for the gorgeous and abundant desert blooms that spread across the California desert. Visitors flocked to the tiny town of Borrego Springs in droves, hoping to photograph the unusual bounty. This painting captures the super bloom with vivid colors and loose, impressionistic brush strokes.
