Introducing Historic Downtown McMinnville
The heart of Oregon's wine country is located in the Yamhill-Carlton AVA, so the town of McMinnville, located amidst this fertile land, was always destined to be something wonderful. The reverence for this beautiful place is reflected by the thriving artistic and winemaking communities, and by the lovely architecture found in historic downtown McMinnville.
Business owners began building many of the brick structures that exist in downtown between 1885 and 1912. This historic area has only grown since then, as businesses have continued to build upon and preserve these lovely structures. Third Street is not only home to many of our treasured local businesses, but it is also a place where artists, history buffs, gourmands, and wine aficionados alike gather to enjoy Oregon Wine Country.
