A grove of wind-carved cypress trees stands on the tip of the Monterey Peninsula, near Lover's Point. The dawn light casts rich, warm hues of golden orange across the coastal landscape. Each impressionist brush stroke is thick and impasto, alive with color and energy.

"Dancing Cypress" was created on 1-1/2" deep stretched linen. The painting arrives framed in a contemporary gold floater frame finished in burnished 23kt gold leaf.
