About the Painting

Colorful hues of early dawn sparkle on this painting of cypress trees found along 17 Mile Drive in Pebble Beach, California. The thick, impasto brushstrokes are loose and impressionistic, conveying a sense of movement and brilliance to the painting.

"Cypress Lights" was created on 1-1/2" canvas, with the painting continued around the edges of the canvas. The piece is framed in a 23kt gold leaf floater frame.
