About the Painting

Early dawn light casts rich lavender shadows across morning-orange hills of Napa's wine country. Thick, impressionistic brush strokes build up layers of color that add an extra dimensions to the painting.

The painting was done on 1-1/2" canvas, with the painting continued around the edges. It has been framed in a hand-carved, open impressionist frame.

We are donating 10% of this painting sale to the Napa Valley Community Disaster Relief Fund and the Sonoma Humane Society.

For the next 30 days we will also be donating 100% of all proceeds from her California Wine Country book sales to these hardworking and much valued non-profits.

ERIN HANSON is a life-long painter, beginning her study of oils as a young child.  Her passion for natural beauty is seen in her work as she transforms vistas familiar and rare into stunning interpretations of bold color, playful rhythms, and raw emotional impact. With thousands of collectors eagerly anticipating her work and millions of followers online, Hanson has become an iconic, driving force in the rebirth of contemporary impressionism, and she is quickly recognized as a prolific, modern master.
