This painting was inspired by the hill-top view at Adelaida Winery, in Paso Robles, California. This modern impressionism painting was created with thick, painterly brush strokes and expressive color. The autumn summer light casts a warm glow across the landscape, highlighting the distant coastal mountain range.

This painting was done on 1-1/2" canvas, with the edges of the canvas painted. The piece will be framed in a gold floater frame and it arrives ready to hang.

ERIN HANSON is a life-long painter, beginning her study of oils as a young child.  Her passion for natural beauty is seen in her work as she transforms vistas familiar and rare into stunning interpretations of bold color, playful rhythms and raw emotional impact.
