Hiking through east Zion on freshly fallen snow was an experience I'll never forget. The sun came out briefly in the middle of the day, casting long shadows of lavender across the pristine snow. The impressionistic quality of the painting captures the mood and natural beauty of the scene.

"Zion Snow" was created on 1/8" linen board, and the painting arrives framed in a hand-carved, gold plein air frame.
