Cascading wildflowers grow with abundance in Texas Hill Country. This painting captures the lively array of colors and textures that abound during the spring months. The brush strokes are thickly applied, loose and impressionstic.

"Wildflower Light" was created on 1-1/2" canvas, with the painting continued around the edges. The painting has been framed in a custom-made, gold floating frame.

This painting was exhibited in Erin Hanson: American Vistas at the Nancy Cawdrey Studios and Gallery in Whitefish, Montana, 2019.
