This painting was inspired by the Indian Canyon palm oasis near Palm Springs, California. The cool waters of the oasis are surrounded by lush ferns and palm trees, a stark contrast to the dry desert mountains only a hundred yards away. This painting captures the feeling of standing near the oasis, enjoying the cool, shaded vista.

"Oasis Palms" was created on 1-1/2" canvas, with the painting continued around the edges of the canvas. The piece has been framed in a custom gold floating frame.
