Soft colors of late afternoon illuminate this landscape of California wine country. The brush strokes are loose and impressionistic, capturing the feeling of transient light and ever-changing vistas. The gnarled oak tree stands large and impressive against the softly rolling hills and cultivated land in the background.

This painting was done on 1-1/2" canvas, and it has been framed in a champagne gold, carved floater frame.

ERIN HANSON is a life-long painter, beginning her study of oils as a young child.  Her passion for natural beauty is seen in her work as she transforms vistas familiar and rare into stunning interpretations of bold color, playful rhythms and raw emotional impact.
