Cheerful summer clouds glide across a desert blue sky in this painting of Canyonlands National Park, Utah. This national park takes up a huge expanse of land and contains myriad red rock formations, canyon systems, and mesas. This painting was inspired by a hike through the red rock formations in the Needles district.

This painting was done on 1-1/2" canvas, with the painting continued around the edge of the canvas. This piece has been framed in a beautiful, hand-carved open impressionist frame.

Exhibited: The Red Rock Show at The Erin Hanson Gallery, 2018. Click here to view the other Red Rock paintings.
