About the Painting

This painting was inspired by a short hiking trip in New Hampshire's White Mountains. The brush strokes in this painting capture all the texture of the tree-covered mountains and the vividly fall-colored trees. The low-laying brook was bright blue in the early morning, reflecting the beautiful landscape surrounding it. Exploring the White Mountains was the most enjoyable day on my first leaf-peeping trip to New England.

This painting was done on 1-1/2" canvas, with the painting continued around the edges. The painting will be framed in a 23kt gold leaf floater frame to complement the colors in the piece. It arrives wired and ready to hang.
