The rocky coastline of Pebble Beach, popularized by the scenic route 17 Mile Drive, is captured here in thickly applied impressionistic brush strokes, alive with color and motion. The ancient cypress trees stand twisted and weather-beaten, glowing orange in the last hues of sunlight.

"Cypress Rocks" was created on 1-1/2" canvas, with the painting continued around the edges. The piece arrives framed in a contemporary gold floater frame finished in burnished 23kt gold leaf.
