About the Painting

A coastal pine stands atop a bluff in Torrey Pines, San Diego. Lime green and periwinkle light glints through the pine needle, as the criss-crossing branches cut abstract shapes in the sky. The brush strokes in this painting are loose and impressionistic, alive with color and movement.

This painting was done on 1-1/2" deep canvas, with the painting continued around the edges. The painting has been framed in a gold floater frame and arrives ready to hang.
