About the Painting

The tiny pointed leaves of the Japanese maple tree dance and frolic against a lavender-blue sky. The vivid colors of autumn form an abstract dance against the canvas, inviting your eye to roam into imagination.

"Maple Color" was inspired by Kyoto, Japan. The piece was created on 1-1/2" canvas, with the painting continued around the edges. It arrives framed in a custom-made, curved gold floater frame.
