About the Painting

This piece is second in the series of cottonwood paintings inspired by Canyon de Chelly, Arizona. The reddish pink sandstone is the perfect contrast to the bright green leaves of the cottonwoods. The brush strokes in this painting are thick and impressionistic, creating a mosaic of color and texture across the canvas.

This painting was created on 1-1/2" deep canvas. This piece arrives framed in a gold floater frame.
