The Cove

La Jolla's popular Cove is captured in vibrant oils, thickly applied in the style of modern impressionism. The wildflowers in the foreground draw you into the painting with their curving stalks. The brush strokes create a vivid mosaic of color and texture throughout the painting.

This painting was created on a gallery-depth canvas with the painting continued around the edges. The painting will arrive in a beautiful hardwood floater frame, ready to hang. The second photograph above shows how the piece looks under gallery spot lighting.

Exhibited: "Impressions in Oil", Studios on the Park. Paso Robles, CA. 2015
