An almost full moon hangs above the desert landscape of Joshua Tree National Park. The painting captures the quiet peace of the dusky desert. The brush strokes in the painting are loose and impressionistic, alive with color.

"Joshua Moon II" was created on 1-1/2" canvas, with the painting continued around the edges. The piece has been framed in a gold floating frame.
