A pair of San Diego jacaranda trees bloom with vivacious color. The bright purple flower petals drift to the ground, creating a carpet of color on the grass. The thickly applied brush strokes of oil stand out from the canvas, adding dimension and movement to the painting.

"Jacaranda Petals" was created on 1-1/2" stretched canvas, with the painting continued around the edges. The piece arrives framed in a contemporary gold floater frame.
