The gently rolling hills of Texas Hill Country are captured here in thickly applied brush strokes of impressionistic oil paint, the warm colors of spring coming alive on the canvas. The yellow wildflowers add a sense of joy and movement to the piece.

This painting was done on 1-1/2" canvas, with the painting continued around the edges. The painting has been framed in a 23kt gilded, contemporary floater frame.
