20 x 24 in

Contact Gallery

Kayenta, near St. George, Utah, is a stunning paradise of rich color and desert plant life that comes alive in the sunset light. These flowering yucca seem to be dancing in the warm desert air, reaching their spines towards the sky. The brush strokes in this painting are loose and impressionistic, capturing the feeling of being outdoors.

This painting was done on 3/4"-deep stretched canvas. It has been framed in a classic plein air frame and arrives wired and ready to hang.

ERIN HANSON is a life-long painter, beginning her study of oils as a young child.  Her passion for natural beauty is seen in her work as she transforms vistas familiar and rare into stunning interpretations of bold color, playful rhythms and raw emotional impact. With thousands of collectors eagerly anticipating her work and millions of followers online, Hanson has become an iconic, driving force in the rebirth of contemporary impressionism, and she is quickly recognized as a prolific, modern master.
