Long shadows of dawn stretch over the ocean waters of Northern California. The sea is multi-colored in hues of aqua and lavender, while the warm yellow light of morning glints over the landscape. The brush strokes in this painting are loose and impressionistic, alive with color and motion.

"Dawning Shadows" was created on 1-1/2" canvas, with the painting continued around the edges. The piece arrives framed in a contemporary gold floater frame.
