Abstract colors of autumn cut between the branches of the overhanging maple trees, creating a mosaic of texture across the canvas. The impasto brush strokes are loose and impressionistic, capturing the emotional experience of seeing autumn colors in person.

This painting was created on 1-1/2" canvas, with the painting continued around the edges. It has been framed in a custom gold floater frame and arrives ready to hang.

ERIN HANSON is a life-long painter, beginning her study of oils as a young child.  Her passion for natural beauty is seen in her work as she transforms vistas familiar and rare into stunning interpretations of bold color, playful rhythms and raw emotional impact.
