The cholla cactus fields in Joshua Tree National Park are amazing to see in person - the desert floor seems to glows with color as all the green cacti spines catch the light. This painting depicts a late afternoon view of the desert in spring.
This piece was created on 1-1/2" gallery-depth canvas, with the painting wrapped around the sides of the canvas. It has been framed in a gold floating frame.
