The tall bamboo forests of Arashiyama Park in Japan draw crowds from around the world to gaze at their immense heights. This painting captures the beautiful color of the bamboo's green foliage, backlit by a morning sun. The brush strokes are thick and impressionistic, bringing to life the natural beauty of the outdoors.

"Bamboo Forest" was created on 1-1/2" canvas, and it arrives framed in a contemporary gold floater frame.
