The Erin Hanson Gallery presented Hanson’s newest collection of vibrant paintings on June 16th, 2018. Each piece in the Red Rock collection featured the bright, bold colors inspired by the National Parks and monuments of Utah, Arizona, Nevada and Colorado.
Every painting in The Red Rock Show features the thick, impasto strokes Erin Hanson is known for, paired with a brilliant color palette. As you peruse the collection (found here), you will see that each piece embodies an intricate landscape filled with detail and beauty, using very few brush strokes. This is a signature element in Hanson’s open impressionism.

Collectors, art enthusiasts, and locals gathered at The Erin Hanson Gallery on the night of The Red Rock Show, filling the space with discussion and laughter. A subtle, twangy tune seeped its way through the gathering as guests sipped local wine from 2Plank Vineyards. Every aspect of the show was designed to create a memorable experience for all attendees.

Erin Hanson herself met many of the visitors during the show, sharing the experiences behind her paintings, signing her latest art book, and participating in in-depth discussions.

Hanson tells us, “I love to meet anyone who enjoys art, to talk with them about how they see the world, and to share my vision of the natural beauty that surrounds us with others.”
