Paintings of White Mountains

Erin Hanson loves leaf-peeping in New England, and she has created many autumnal paintings showcasing the leaves turning. She visited the White Mountains of the Northeastern United States, which are part of the Appalachian Mountain Range. Here she found the brilliantly colored landscape a perfect subject for her impressionist art. I got to explore the White Mountains for the first time this past autumn.
