About the Painting

Delicate afternoon light filters through the Japanese maple trees and onto the stream in this garden painting of Kyoto, Japan. The colors are vivid and impressionistic, capturing the mood of the landscape.

"Viridian Filigree" was created on 1-1/2" canvas, with the painting continued around the edges. The painting has been framed in a custom-made, gold floating frame.
