About the Painting

A gently winding trail weaves through a grove of Colorado aspen trees, their brilliant orange and gold leaves sparkling with color against the bright blue sky. Each brush stroke is loose and impressionistic, re-creating the landscape with a painterly expression of light and color.

"Colors of Aspen" was created on 1-1/2" canvas, with the painting continued around the sides. The piece arrives framed in a contemporary gold floater frame.
