About the Painting

Delicate autumn leaves glitter in the early morning light, their warm hues a beautiful contrast against the distant layers of the mountain. The thickly applied brush strokes capture the sense of motion in the picture. The painting has a definite stained glass appearance, as the tall trees cut abstract shapes across the landscape.

This painting was done on 1-1/2" canvas, with the edges of the canvas painted. The piece will be framed in a gold floater frame and it arrives ready to hang
