Morning sunlight streaks into the Grand Canyon, lighting the summer-green slopes below. This painting was inspired by a 2-day hike into the canyon. The brush strokes are loose and open, capturing the vibrancy of the landscape.

"Dawning Vista" was created on 1-1/2" canvas, with the painting continued around the edges. The piece arrives framed in a custom-made, gold floater frame.

This painting was displayed at the Grand Canyon Celebration of Art, 2019.
