The Arizona desert south of Jerome is peppered with lone saguaro cacti, nestled among the desert scrub. This painting captures the epitome of the Southwest desert with rich color, loose brushstrokes, and thick, impasto oil paint.

This painting is available for purchase through the Desert Caballeros Western Museum, as part of the Cowgirl Up! exhibition.
