Scripps Ranch eucalyptus trees in the fog, San Diego scenery painting by Erin Hanson

Early morning fog lingers in the eucalptus trees of Scripps Ranch, along the path where I like to jog in the mornings. The summer greens of these elegant trees fade into hues of blue and lavender in the morning fog. The brush strokes are loose and painterly, capturing and stimulating the imagination.

This painting was done on 1-1/2" canvas, with the painting continued around the edges. The piece arrives framed and ready to hang.
