Dawn light plays over the apple-green hills of Carmel Valley, south of Monterey. The layered hills recede into hues of purple in the distance. The brush stroke are loose and impressionistic, capturing the light and movement of the outdoors.
This painting was done on 1-1/2" canvas, with the painting continued around the edges. It has been framed in a hand-carved, gold floater frame.
ERIN HANSON is a life-long painter, beginning her study of oils as a young child.
