Monterey cypress trees stand along the low cliffs of the Monterey penninsula, along Seventeen Mile Drive. The reflected colors of dawn create vibrant hues of purple and orange along the coastline. Thick, impressionistic brush strokes of oil paint bring the scene to life with energetic, spontaneous color.

"Reflected Dawn" was created on 1-/2" stretched canvas, with the edges of the canvas painted. The piece arrives framed in a contemporary gold floater frame
