This painting was inspired by a grove of date palms in La Quinta, California. The palm fronds were catching the early morning light and glimmering with color and motion. Each individual brush stroke is thickly applied and adds to the overall motion and depth of the painting.
This painting has been framed in a gold floater frame and arrives ready to hang. The canvas is 1-1/2" deep, with the painting continued around the edges of the canvas.
ERIN HANSON is a life-long painter, beginning her study of oils as a young child.
