Red Japanese maples glitter with color between two pine trees, their colorful foliage bright against the rich green hues. This painting was inspired by a trip to Kyoto, Japan over Thanksgiving weekend.

"Maple and Pine" was created on 1-1/2" canvas, with the painting continued around the edges. The piece arrives framed in a contemporary gold floater frame finished in burnished, 23kt gold leaf.
