In this painting of Kyoto fall colors, I wanted to capture the abstract nature of the willowy maple trees and rainbow spread of colors I saw everywhere. I love how the bright apple green contrasts with the warm reds and oranges. This painting is more on the expressonistic side, focusing on the emotional nature of a beautiful scene.

This painting was done on 1-1/2" canvas, with the painting continued around the edges. The painting will be framed in a 23kt gold leaf floater frame to complement the colors in the piece. It arrives wired and ready to hang
