About the Painting

A lone cypress tree stands on a rocky outcropping in Carmel, California. The warm hues of dusk cast colorful reflections across the water and long the multi-colored rocks. The thickly applied brush strokes add a dimension of movement to the piece.

"Lone Pine Dusk" was created on 1-1/2" canvas. This piece arrives framed in a contemporary gold floater frame finished in 23kt burnished gold leaf.
